NIKE Sparq Baseball testing will be taking place at the Rijo Athletics facility.  Testing will include:

Vertical Jump
30-yard Dash
Rotational Power Ball Toss
20-yard Shuffle

Athletes will receive their Sparq rating and see how they measure up with other top athletes.

What is SPARQ?  SPARQ is an acronym for Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction and Quickness - the five key elements of athleticism.  SPARQ provides athletes across all sports and at all levels training targeted to help them improve in each of the five key elements of athleticism. Additionally, SPARQ provides tools; testing protocols and ratings - to help athletes assess and improve their athleticism and monitor their improvement from year to year. SPARQ is dedicated to giving athletes the information and inspiration they need to improve their athletic performance.

Rijo Athletics will be having a 4-day training camp the week before the Sparq testing.  Athletes will be given the tools to improve their scores in this 4-day camp.
